My initial passion for photography started over 10 years ago when I was using a compact zoom 35mm camera. Originally I was shooting mainly scenic and travel subjects I then progressed to sport and portraiture work, the later using more black and white film. I particularly used black and white film to enable more control with the creative process. Over the years I have spent hundreds of hours in the darkroom, often into the early hours of the following day.
In recent times I have focused on location fashion and portrait work, and started shooting local band gigs. This has meant working quicker and being more alert to light and the environment.

I have photographed weddings, people, sports, actors, dancers, musicians and the natural world and I like to capture moments in our time. I can honestly say that I am always happiest and most content with a camera in my hands. I love exploring new locations and will often return to a location at different times of the day or year to see how time changes the environment. I am based in London but I still find time to explore outside of the city and look for new views on the world around us.

It doesn’t matter to me what or who I am photographing, I am always studying my subjects and light to capture the best image as naturally and realistically as possible. I visualise images before I press the shutter and whilst I am efficient with post production editing I aim to keep the final image as honest and true as possible
